Why the name changed
The Coating Company started life as The Cozy Corner Interiors — a general interiors outfit taking on whatever came through the door. Design layouts, modular carpentry, false ceilings, the lot.
It did not work as well as the surface work did. Design-heavy projects needed a full-time CAD and drawing team we did not have, timelines slipped for reasons outside our control, and the quality we were proud of kept coming from the same place: the painting, the waterproofing and above all the polishing.
So we stopped taking design work and rebuilt the business around four services we can do better than almost anyone in the NCR. That is what the name change is about. Less scope, more mastery — and a price that reflects skilled work rather than a showroom lease and a design department you never asked for.

Four commitments we will not quietly drop
These are the things that go wrong most often in this trade. Each one is a deliberate policy, not a slogan.
The quote is the invoice
Measured on site and fixed against the agreed scope. If something hidden turns up during prep, we stop and re-quote that portion before proceeding — never after, on the final bill.
Preparation is not optional
Sanding, filling, priming and masking are on every quote as line items. They are the first things a cheap quote silently removes, and the reason cheap work fails within two years.
You know who is in your home
Crew lead named and shared in advance, team in branded T-shirts, founder reachable throughout. No anonymous labour turning up at your door.
We say no
If a job is outside our specialisation, too small to justify our travel, or better solved by a plumber than a coating, we tell you. Turning down the wrong work is how we protect the right work.
No showroom. That is a feature.
