Ansar Khan founded The Coating Company in 2019 after years of taking on whatever interiors work came through the door. The business narrowed deliberately to four surface trades — painting, waterproofing, spray polishing and interior finishing — on the view that a crew doing four things properly beats one doing twelve adequately.
He measures most jobs himself, writes the quote that becomes the invoice, and stays on the same phone number from the first call to the final walkthrough. There is no showroom, which is a pricing decision as much as a practical one: the customer pays for the work rather than the rent.
